Empathetically void Purveyors of distraction Dismember our species Terrorize the rest. Hijacked tax brackets Fashioned into The sharpest instruments Drag 'cross our wits and wrists Coming up short on Time to unravel this Epic riddle slipped in side our timeline by the enemy ~ When speech is free but no one hears you when you call The dangled keys of capitalism enthrall How long Must this go on? Endless zombies lumber through your every haunt If you wake them they will eat you on the spot How long Must this go on? Wasted breath on dried out dreams Save it for the pain-filled screams Sounds of their God Letting them rot. Recognizing what's at stake And the bough's about to break How long Must this go on? ~ Emotions retarded We expose our hearts to Heart-eating garbage com- pactors, mechanic distractions act as soul thrashing tractors Gathering mass as they spin off axis and crash Paralyzed by options Whirlwind, rip-curl Gnostics Obfuscate hot topics Orbiting bucolic Answers to their queries When their message should be "If you don't think it is possible to change the world, All that means is you won't be one of the ones who do."

(Woo woo woo)Who pays to correct you when you step out of the narrative? Thought up, bought up taught as fact yet Carved from ill intent Unstable power-driven Robots write the scenes That form the minds of those who tune in To their frequency. Money's one thing, but now we see how you WIELD YOUR FORTUNE Half-truth propaganda Scans my iris, I wish I was Vicious I would rip this Business skyward to ex pose those liars And if you're trained you see Just how subtly This scandal wrinkles flags, Entire maps would be half mast Money's one thing, but now we see how you WIELD YOUR FORTUNE ~ Now that I have your attention I feel the need to mention several problematic practices that can be traced back to the ever increasing gap between the classes. The top of Maslow's pyramid makes a poignant point, yet few glimpse beyond step 2, physical safety, into loving & belonging, not for want of trying, but the luxury of free time- Let alone the peace of mind to formulate healthy habits to the point where we become attractive to others with healthy habits. The powers that shouldn't be use invisible tools to keep us divided by our differences, bickering over issues that are non-issues because of their commonality with basic human rights, such as plant cultivation and loving freely. We should have graduated a century ago, instead we celebrate their allowance. This is class warfare. ~ Don't believe demons who de- mand we amp up for manned battle between people who only want to be left alone, This is industrialized resource laundering Culture crusher turned to 10

It's easy to sink Most of us love the company A certain charm Grows like a mold after a while Rusted and cold Grabbing at ankles from below Stay in your lane, seeking truth, but knowledge lies outside of comfort Wait in the wind Dedicate patience to lift off Carrying up Few will appreciate the work Make it a point To reach out to those of us who smile Stay in your lane, seeking truth, but Knowledge lies outside of comfort. Let them spin their wheels in should have's Nautical elixir scripted thought Drape a cape across a sturdy frame Fasten strings to feel the whistlers pull

about

First EP under the new name. Hopefully all projects in the future will be variations of this. I'll keep it a hard rock core, but experiment with the talent I have around me. The band's name was taken from Jon Ronson's Ted Talk "Strange Answers to the Psychopath Test" Found here:

www.ted.com/talks/jon_ronson_strange_answers_to_the_psychopath_test

This was recorded in Los Angeles in 2016. All the players on the album are hilariously from Baltimore. I played with Jason in Eat Your Neighbors. Eric toured with us one summer, and got college credit for being our sound engineer. Geoff and I played in Orange Horse together. Matt played with Orange horse drummer Dylan Schwacke in an old band Infusion, and Pete sings/guitars for Rezin and plays Drums for my other band, FaceKiller.
